You need to be using either the Firefox browser or google Chrome to see the full effect of responsive design

A few of the samples you can try are:

IN FIRE FOX

  1. Open new browser window
  2. Go to page you want to check
  3. Go to menu symbol in top right corner and left click
  4. Click left on Developer (the wrench symbol). If it is not there click on customize at the bottom, a page will open. Developer should be there.
  5. Look down the menu that opens and finds "Responsive Design View" and click it.
  6. Top left of the browser window will be a control bar with different sizes.
  7. Check the site out at different sizes. Use the arrow beside the sizes to change between portrait and landscape view.

IN CHROME

  1. Open new browser window
  2. Go to the page you want to check
  3. Go to menu symbol in top right corner and click
  4. On the pop out menu, go down to Developer tools and click
  5. A panel opens on the right. Second symbol across top of panel (looks like a little smart phone) toggles the "Responsive Design View"
  6. In the browser window top left is a list of devices. It will show you what the website looks like on different devices
  7. Please pay attention to the scale. Not everything is shown at 100% (full size)

This will show you what the site will look like on most phones, tablets, iPads and desktops.

Now try your site, how does it look? Not happy? You better get in touch
